I was looking at pictures from Paige's bday and noticed Jake and MIL being silly.

MIL pinched Jake's plumber but from his swimsuit.

A local grocery store had an advertised special if you bought 10 items from them you would get a coupon for 50 extra box tops. Well my kids' school is trying to earn the money for new playground equipment so I decided to go and purchase 10 of the products. While we were waiting for a new cashier to come and run the beer through that toby wanted the underage cashier took the coupon and tossed! I was pissed and told him that we wanted it and made him dig it out of the trash. So a few days later I decided that I should get 10 more since the product was only $1 (it was Helper Meals BUT they are ok to use on busy nights or they actually turn out good if they are baked or cooked in a crockpot). So I went to a different store in the same chain and noticed that the coupon didn't print. I found the manager on duty and asked him why it didn't print and he basically told me there was nothing he could do (which is bull-crap he *could have returned and rerand the purchase OR he could have logged into the coupon printer and print out the coupon manually). I had to pick the kids up at karate right then so I let it go. As I was driving home Haley told me I should write them, so I did. I went to the website and wrote them, the next day I was called and informed that the store manager would be calling me later in the day. I got a call and was told that they would be bringing me out a coupon but since I had to take the kids to karate which was right behind the store I told him I would just stop in. I got there and not only did they give me a coupon but they gave the kids balloons, me a floral arrangement, a gift card for $10, a huge thing of diapers (I had told them that their machine doesn't always print out the babybucks either-another of their promotions) AND the best part a $25 cash donation to the kids' school for the playground equipment fund!

On top of that I got a letter from the manufacturer of the coupon machine a few days later and also got another bonus 50 boxtops from them too!

Preemie eval.

Kira had her preemie eval this morning and it went great. They said that she is caught up in size (duh lol I could have told them that by the way my arms and back are killing me from lugging her around!) she weighed 17lbs 4ozs, they measured her head but I must have spaced off when they said the inches. Hey I was still not functioning well, it was 9:30am apt and I was up too late working on my essays and up way to early w/the girls. So they did a few things with her reflexes and head control. They had her track some items and see how well she did on her stomach-holding her head up and if she lifted her chest. She did great on all of them and wanted to see her back in 3 months. They said that she is doing fine and is doing things better than a child at her adjusted age and even her actual age. I asked about her not rolling over yet and about the lymph node on her head (i always mess up and call it an adnoid LOL). They said not rolling was fine and it was a skill that she would do when ready. They messed with the node for about five minuets and checked out her other nodes in the area to see if they were enlarged too and she couldn't feel any others-which is good-but had no real explination as to why the node was still enlarged. I guess it can become enlarged at birth by the fluid being pressed to the head by the birth canal but *should have gone down and not gotten bigger.

She goes back to the dr tommorrow due to her congestion-again! It has gotten bad again and is causing her to gurgle at times when she breathes. Any way so all in all it was a good apt.

Ahh finally!

I just submitted my last two assignments for this quarter so I am officially off of school for the next two weeks! WOOHOO! I know I have a B in one class, maybe a B in another class (possibly an A) and my marketing class..........well lets just say I hope I pass LOL. I am going to have to rethink my Business Admin focus as I think I just may suck at Marketing!

The next two weeks I am going to be focused on Toby's business paper work to make sure that we have everything lined up for the end of the year.

I just got off the phone with a recruiter (i know how weird them calling on a Sunday morning!) but I may have landed a job working for DTV FROM HOME! I will have to check out the full offer but it sounds right up my alley.

A year ago (well really a year and two days ago) I was getting the news that my job had been outsourced to India (Happy Birthday to me @@) and was told when the job would expire. I read an email explaining errors that we used to joke around with the customers with and it made me sad and miss my job and the poeple that I worked with. I really enjoyed the job even though it was tough to leave my family when they were getting ready for bed and to not have much time with Toby I really enjoyed it. I guess I should start looking for something outside the home soon. I have a few work from home places that I use but I do like actually being around people.

Today was such a blah day, it rained most of last night into this afternoon and rainy days always make me feel crappy. I just don't want to do anything or go anywhere. I wanted to have my hair cut today but didn't end up doing anything other than take Haley to her orthodontic apt and pick up a few grocery items that we ran out of. I would have rescheduled haley's apt if I didn't REALLY need those grocery items AND I hadn't already rescheduled it twice LOL.

He just loves her bunches and she loves him just as much! Whenever she hears him she looks around to see if he will play with her.

He was trying to coach her in rolling over and showing her how to do it LOL.
