MckLinky Blog Hop Introduction

I am participating in MckLinky Weekly Blog Hop this weeks theme is introduce yourself. I'm Sheila, frazzled mom to six great kids, Haley, Loryn, Kaly, Paige, Jake and Kira. My husband Toby is a hard working man, but that means that I am usually doing things with the kids on my own. It makes things interesting, I'm usually that mom who is driving down the road trying to stretch to find a binky that the baby tossed and then decided that she really did want it. Along with doing that I am going to school full-time, working part-time and doing the paperwork for my husband's business. My blog is about me, well running late, again. If it were just me that had to get ready and leave to be somewhere I would be on time all the time, or even if it was just me and the baby. Add five other kids to the mix and things can get interesting like the time I had my son ready, went to change the baby's diaper and came back to him in shorts, a tank top and two different color socks topped by his winter coat. Did I forget to mention that it was about five below zero w/windchill that day?

Wow, are you busy! When do you sleep, lol!

I remember my son wanting to wear a tank top and shorts in the winter time too. In fact he still likes to wear shorts when it's cold out and he is 16!

Thanks for visiting me in N Ireland.

Great blog - and I think you have plenty of reasons (6 of them!) to be running late :)

Isn't it amazing how many are taking part in this?!!

It's so fun learning more about you. I totally understand what you mean about getting out of the house on time. I remember when my second one was an infant it seem like he boo booed twice before I could ever get to the door.

I can't believe you have 6 kids and do all that you do!! I have 4 and I feel like my head is going to fall off! I had to laugh b/c I too stretch as far back as I can while driving to get toys, binky's, and sippy cups that have dropped(oh and flip flops). lol
