Kalysta was about 3 months old and unbelievably colicky. She would scream for hours on end from evening until around midnight. Toby was working late at the time and Loryn refused to sleep on her own. He came home and found us like this one night. Not even Mountain Dew could keep me awake after the night I had!

Oh boy!...My niece was colicky so my hats off to you. I'm sure you were knocked out. cute pic though. Thanks for you comment on my blog. I love this meme!
That must have been hard...but what a sweet flashback photo! :)
I was also thinking the same thought as above...difficult times back then, but the picture is so precious of you all sleeping together. I am going to guess that your nights are just a little bit more peaceful now. Looks like you have some adorable children!
I love this picture! It's so cute! You are all crashed out, lol!
My kids never were colicky but I had some friends whose kids were.
But I did have some late nights with some sick kids so I do know what you mean.
LOL...how funny of your husband! And yes..you do look "thrilled" to have your picture taken!!
I'd bet dollars to donuts you would have killed your husband if the flash had woken the babies! Having said that, aren't you glad he got the photo? It really is priceless.
So lovely, though, and as Erin said, it's pricelss to have those pics with a story to share!
Thank you also for your kind comment on my blog.
Bless you!
So comfy in Momma's protective "body" shell. :) That's a precious photo - I love the look on your face in the 2nd one, LOL
Oh goodness that picture looks so familar to me...like I've lived that scenerio so many nights :) I tell ya when they're little like that and fussy(Lord knows how you did colic)you'll fall asleep anywhere!
Oh no! I remember those days!
Have a Lovely Sunday!
BTW you have a Lovely Blog Layout and a BEAUTIFUL family!
My oldest was very colicky. I remember how tired I was every time I brought a new baby home. And I am bringing home number four sometime soon, I hope. I am getting sick of being pregnant!
Funny to say these are the moments we will all miss when the kids are all grown up and out of the house:)
