Today I did not spend all day in my PJ's because I had a massive headache that did not want to go away. I did not keep the baby in her PJ's all day either. I did not take my older kids to the pool so that I could get just a few minutes of bicker free afternoon and then pick them up - still in my PJ's and go into the grocery store and buy items for dinner.
I didn't draw a heart on the baby's hand to keep her occupied for a few minutes so that she would stop trying to climb me like a ladder using my hair as the upper rungs. She did not sit there for the next fifteen minutes saying "pretty" over and over while pointing at said heart, completely melting mine.

Sheila, you have a wonderful blog, and I love the idea of "Not Me Monday"! Your story of drawing a heart on your baby's hand, and her reaction to it, was very touching (and brought back memories from 20 years ago!). I'm looking forward to reading future posts.
